Pardonne Gallery Presents: “Come As You Are”

After teasing about the release of new apparel since the beginning of January and debuting their Spring Essential Pieces in April, Pardonne Gallery is back this month to launch their full line. Grabbing inspiration from the everyday lives of them, those around them and imagery from the environments we all live in, the brand has released their “Come As You Are” Collection.

“We search for those organic feelings of just living and not caring about what society puts on us, as far as how we should do things, or market our art. Simply put – we want you to have our vision in its rawest form.”

The staple pieces of the collection take on new approaches to street wear. While filming their process and marketing the upcoming release, the team had the idea of pretending to dress as construction workers to not limit themselves from certain areas in the city – and that is when it happened, the inspiration behind “The Missing A Loved One” jacket.

It combines what we know of the average construction worker uniform and is modified into a street style windbreaker. Being somewhat oversized, the jacket keeps the highlighter yellow based-tones and large reflector bars wrapping the back and sleeves. What makes it significant to the Pardonne Gallery brand is it’s messaging n the jacket of “Missing A Loved One,” which ties into their mini-documentary that was used to promote the message behind the line.

The “Come As You Are” collection includes three different looks of shirts, jackets, shorts, sweatpants and my favorite – their latest accessories, a duffle bag, fanny pack and shoelaces. The shoelaces, which according to the designers can also be worn as a belt, come in a bright orange and yellow, with Pardonne thinly printed in white under the aglets.

They even have a blog dedicated to elaborating on new ideas, telling their stories, helping everyone stay updated on new apparel and constantly sending thanks to the people that continue to support them.
